Who Can Participate?
You may participate if you:
- Are 21 years of age or older
- Have visited a licensed New Jersey adult-use cannabis dispensary within the past 12 months
- Have personally visited at least one qualifying dispensary located within the study's defined South Jersey geographic area
Participants should only evaluate dispensaries they have personally visited.
What Does South Jersey Mean in This Study?
For this study, South Jersey includes:
- Atlantic County
- Burlington County
- Camden County
- Cape May County
- Cumberland County
- Gloucester County
- Ocean County
- Salem County
This definition is used consistently when establishing the study comparison set and analyzing regional findings.
Other organizations may define South Jersey differently. The counties above represent the geographic definition established for this study before data collection.
What Does the Survey Measure?
The primary survey measures are:
- Overall Experience
- Staff Knowledge & Helpfulness
- Product Selection
- Store Atmosphere
- Value
- Ease of Shopping
- Likelihood to Recommend
Participants who have personally used an eligible licensed cannabis consumption area may also be asked about their consumption-area experience.
How Are Dispensaries Selected?
The eligible comparison set is based on licensed personal-use cannabis retailers within the study's defined South Jersey counties (currently 130 businesses across all eight counties, plus 3 with licensed consumption-area status).
My Daily Discount Research uses current New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission licensing information and verifies the study list before fielding begins.
The final comparison set is frozen when the survey launches so that businesses are not selectively added or removed after results begin to develop.
A business must be licensed as a retailer and confirmed as an operating adult-use retail location before it is included in the final survey comparison set.

How We Protect Survey Integrity
My Daily Discount Research uses predetermined eligibility, scoring and analysis rules so that survey findings are not changed to favor a particular business.
Reasonable measures are used to identify incomplete, duplicate, automated or suspicious submissions.
Responses are not excluded simply because they contain a negative rating or an unfavorable opinion.
Recruitment sources are also tracked where technically possible so that potential source bias can be considered when interpreting the results.
How Are Participants Recruited?
Survey participants may reach the study through sources including:
- My Daily Discount
- Organic search
- Social media
- Direct traffic
- Referral sources
- Gynsyng
- Other participating businesses
- Other documented recruitment channels
Where technically possible, referral and UTM information will be recorded.
If one participating business becomes a major source of responses, that concentration will be considered during analysis and disclosed when relevant.
When Will Results Be Published?
Results will not be published until the study's predetermined minimum response requirements have been satisfied and responses have been reviewed according to the methodology.

Not every business that receives a survey response will necessarily receive enough qualifying responses to be included in comparative findings.
No new scoring category will be created after reviewing the results solely to make a particular business rank first.
Research Transparency
No business is guaranteed a ranking, award, endorsement, positive result or other recognition.
Any material commercial or organizational relationship between the research publisher and a business discussed in the study will be disclosed where applicable.
The underlying methodology, eligibility requirements and minimum sample rules are established before results are analyzed.
